AI & Ethics

This course will cover key topics to provide introductory-level knowledge of AI and its applications in corporate organisations. It will also explore ethical considerations surrounding the development, deployment, and use of AI technologies. Participants will learn what AI is and is not and gain an understanding of its various subfields (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision). The course will also cover the historical context and evolution of AI as well as an explanation of basic concepts and terminology (e.g., algorithms, neural networks, deep learning). It will also examine concepts related to AI ethics, such as algorithmic bias, fairness, accountability, and the ethical implications of automation and decision-making processes.
